Knowledgebase | Live Chat Assistance
The Sage Small Business Knowledgebase does not require a log on. We’ve got answers to your most frequently asked Peachtree questions! Search by product, category, keywords, Answer ID or phrases. You can even give us feedback on answers and suggest new answers.

Customer Service Chat is free for everyone and provides non-product support assistance. For Customer Service Chat hours and availability are:
Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.

Advanced Features (Log on Required)
Peachtree customers with a warranty or support plan are entitled to use advanced features such as:

  • Peachtree Product Support Chat
  • E-mail Support

To use these features click on the Advanced Features link and log on. Once logged on you can also search the Sage Accounting for Small Business Knowledgebase.

How do I log on to access Advanced Features?

Peachtree customers with a warranty or support plan can log on to their Advanced Features through Peachtree Passport. If you don't currently have a Peachtree Passport account set-up, you'll have an option to create one before accessing the Advanced Features of the Knowledgebase / Live Chat Assistance. Unless you log on, your Advanced Features will not be available to you.

You can verify if you are logged on by looking at the “Logged On Status Indicator” (pictured above). Unless you log on, your Advanced Features will not be available to you.

Who can use Live Chat Assistance?

Access to Live Chat Assistance varies based on day/time, your product and/or warranty or support plan. If you see a message that permission is denied, it is after hours or you selected a category of chat that is an Advanced Feature and requires a prior logon.

Customer Service Chat

Available to all customers for non-product support questions only. Click here to get more information about items handled by Customer Service. (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.)

Product Support Chat (logon required)

Available to customers with a Peachtree support plan (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.) Peachtree Product Support Chat is an Advanced Feature that requires a logon to use. Please log on first via the Advanced Features link above.

"Getting Started" Support Chat (logon required)

Available to first-time customers who have registered their Peachtree by Sage product in the last 30 days (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.) Peachtree “Getting Started” Support Chat is an Advanced Feature that requires a logon to use. Please log on first via the Advanced Features link above.

How can I verify that I am entitled to use Live Chat Assistance?

First verify that you are within operating hours for chat (above). Next, check to see if the type of chat you desire is an Advanced Feature that requires a logon. If a logon is required, please log on first via the Advanced Features link above.

After you have done this, if you are still not able to begin a chat session, please contact Customer Service and a Representative will assist you.
