Now that you have purchased your Peachtree by Sage product, get started on the right foot.
Firewalls
Peachtree and its database, Pervasive, can be mistakenly identified as an intrusion threat by many firewall and anti-virus programs. If not addressed properly, this may cause installation to fail or Peachtree may not start or run properly.
Windows Vista®
Windows Vista has been generally available since January 30, 2007 and will eventually replace earlier Microsoft operating systems. Whether you are purchasing a new PC or upgrading your existing PC to Windows Vista, it is important to know whether your Peachtree software will function properly.
Microsoft Windows 7
Microsoft has announced that it will launch the new Windows 7 operating system in the fall of 2009. Peachtree 2010 SR1 will be compatible with the Windows 7 operating system when it hits the market. Please note that prior releases, up to and including 2009, will not be supported on Windows 7.
