What is an online item catalog and how does it work?
You can showcase your products and services on your Web site with an online catalog, which can be created from information uploaded from your Peachtree inventory list. Your catalog can be grouped by categories you specify, and visitors can search for specific items or categories within your Web site. You can also choose to enter some or all of your items directly into the Peachtree WebsiteCreator catalog.
Catalog items can be grouped or categorized for easy identification. You can even highlight sale or specialty items. You can have multiple category levels, and you can drill down from item listings for more descriptive details.
For example, I have a furniture store and want to group items by room such as Office, Bedroom, Living Room and Dining Room. My catalog would display those as categories, and my items would be assigned to the appropriate categories. I could also add a Monthly Specials category and assign a few items from each room to be highlighted within this category.
Can I authorize credit cards online?
We currently do not offer integrated credit card authorization for Peachtree WebsiteTrader orders. However, this service is available for your Peachtree software. When Web orders are transferred into your Peachtree software, you can take the credit card information from within the order and use the credit card authorization service.

Can I use my own domain name with a Peachtree-hosted Web site?
Yes. With Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro, you can transfer your own company domain name, such as www.yourcompany.com, to your new Peachtree-hosted Web site. In fact if you own more than one domain name, WebsiteCreator Pro supports up to five different domain names.
Can I upload my existing non-Peachtree Web site to your site?
Yes, you can with the new Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro advanced user features. Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro also has its own format, so you can quickly build a new site utilizing content from your current site.
What will my new Web Address be?
Peachtree will host your Web site as part of the service and your new Web address will be www.yourcompanyname.peachhost.com. Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro supports up to five different domain names.
Can Peachtree WebsiteTrader be used with any Web site?
No, but Peachtree WebsiteTrader can be used by anyone who currently has a Web site created with Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro. If you created your Web site with the basic Peachtree WebsiteCreator tool, you will need to upgrade to Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro in order to use Peachtree WebsiteTrader.
I am using the basic Peachtree WebsiteCreator tool with a 25-item catalog. How can I increase the size of my brochure/catalog?
Sage gives you an upgrade option called Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro, that allows you to increase both the size of your catalog, from 25 to 2000 items, and total number of non-catalog pages from 6 to 30. You can also take customer orders from your online catalog by adding the e-commerce capabilities offered with Peachtree WebsiteTrader. With this service, Web orders can be transferred from your Web site into your Peachtree software.
How do I upload my inventory items from Peachtree?
The process is simple. From within your Peachtree Accounting desktop software, select Website Creation & Storefront from the Services menu. Select Catalog and follow the steps provided. You must first sign up for one of the Peachtree Web site creation tools or you will be unable to complete the upload process.
