As you start up with Peachtree, you might need to transfer your current QuickBooks® information over to Peachtree 2010.
The list highlights key limitations that will impact your data transfer:

  • Peachtree First Accounting 2010 cannot convert QuickBooks or Quicken data
  • Peachtree 2010 can convert data only from QuickBooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise, versions 2007-2009

What is Converted from QuickBooks to Peachtree 2010?

  • Lists, Balances and Transactions will convert from QuickBooks 2007 - 2009

After your conversion is successfully complete, you will notice some terminology differences between QuickBooks and Peachtree.
The list below highlights these differences.

  • Write Checks are imported as Payments
  • Electronic Bill Payment transactions are imported as Payments
  • Deposits and Transfers are imported as Journal Entries
  • Chart of Account types
    • Undeposited Funds become Cash Accounts
    • Direct Deposit Liability become Current Liability Accounts
    • Petty Cash become Cash Accounts
    • Reconciliation Differences become Expense Accounts
    • Sales Tax Payable become Accounts Receivable Accounts

QuickBooks® information that cannot be converted to Peachtree 2010:

  • Individual Payroll transactions
  • Custom field labels
  • Ship Via labels are not converted to defaults*
  • Payment Method labels are not converted to defaults*
  • Sales Tax Type labels do not convert to defaults*

* These fields are converted on transactions but not as defaults
